The SeaScape Inn

Multiple guests described rooms as clean, immaculate and constantly cleaned; one report of a clogged heater filter and an annoying refrigerator whine but overall cleanliness was frequently praised.

Staff were repeatedly described as friendly and helpful (Veejay called out by name); a minority noted difficulty understanding a check-in staff member due to a thick accent.

Consistently highlighted as excellent — directly across from the beach, tram stop outside, close to Golden Gate Park and local restaurants; location is the hotel's strongest feature.

Rooms reported as spacious, comfortable and updated in many cases; some guests noted basic or jarring decor (lime green paint) and older AC/heating units.

On-site/free parking and in-room amenities (mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker) were appreciated; no elevator, no breakfast and limited public water/refreshment facilities were noted.

Mixed but leaning negative: several guests felt the property was overpriced (one specifically overpaid due to an event), while others found it reasonable for the location.

Non-smoking 2-star inn with views of the Pacific Ocean, 400 feet from Ocean Beach, with on-site parking and 21 rooms with multi-channel TV and climate control. Judah Street & La Playa Street bus stop is 100 feet away.
