Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Multiple guests report dirt and even animal feces outside windows causing odor and inability to open windows; several comments also cite inconsistent housekeeping (some found sheets clean, others noted poor room cleaning).

Service

Mixed but generally competent: several guests praise friendly/helpful staff and the parking attendant, early check-in and accommodating actions; a few reports of rude or unwelcoming staff and public reprimands lowered perception.

Location

Location is convenient for attractions (proximity to Universal/central sites) but frequently described as sketchy at night, with homeless nearby and an unpleasant neighborhood odor.

Room Quality

Rooms are sometimes described as large and clean, but common negatives include noisy spring beds, poor soundproofing, and old/noisy air-conditioning units.

Amenities

Breakfast is repeatedly praised and considered a strong point; property also offers parking and a fitness room (parking noted as limited/paid, but overall amenities are seen as very good for the price).

Value for Money

Several guests explicitly note affordable prices and good value for the cost; remarks like 'can't complain for the cost' and 'prix abordables' support a very strong value perception.

Convenient Location

Located just 3. 5 miles from Downtown Los Angeles, the Best Western Plus LA Mid-Town Hotel offers easy access to the city's vibrant center.

Comfortable Rooms

Each room is equipped with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV, and a coffee machine. Guests can also enjoy a seating area and work desk for added convenience.
